With this illustration I wanted to create a scenery that could come out of a Star Wars movie without using any typically characters but nothing than the ambiance and appealing of its franchise.
For this scenery I was mostly inspired by my amazing journey throught Iran. Outside the city of Yazd is a zoroastrian burial ground. This place is called the Tower of Silence. Two circular buildings on peak of the nearby hills are for excarnation for dead bodies to be exposed to carrion birds. At the bottom of this hills where more or less ruins of ancient persian buildings wich every Star Wars geek (me included) automatically turned into a scenery in a galaxy far far away...
